Regarding data collection
Taxcon by itself does not collect any personal data from the user. Taxcon does not upload any content to any service, and local storage is used exclusively for the app's settings.
Regarding the use of the device location
Taxcon uses GPS to enable its flagship feature "Automatic Tax using GPS". The app relies on the zip code corresponding to the current location of the device to find the correct tax. When the new tax is received, Taxcon discards all location data automatically. Taxcon will only request location while the app is open and in the foreground.
